MHACG's 2nd Annual Dinner Fundraiser - Dinner to DIE For

The spirit of the Roaring Twenties came alive on the evening of May 2nd as guests stepped into a world of flappers, fedoras, and forbidden fun at the 2nd Annual Murder Mystery Dinner hosted by MHA of Columbia Greene (MHACG). Held as a fundraiser for the organization’s vital community programs, this year’s event embraced a Gatsby-inspired speakeasy theme that had attendees dressed to the nines in vintage glamour.

The immersive evening featured a thrilling murder mystery performance that kept guests guessing between bites of a delicious multi-course meal. Laughter, suspense, and camaraderie filled the air as participants worked together to unravel the evening’s whodunit.

Beyond the glitz and entertainment, the event served a deeper purpose: raising funds to support MHACG’s essential mental health and wellness programs. MHACG offers a wide range of services including:

  • Mental health counseling and crisis intervention

  • Supportive housing and case management

  • Youth and family services

  • Peer support and recovery programs

  • Community education and outreach

These programs are designed to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and provide accessible care to individuals and families across Columbia and Greene Counties. By addressing mental health needs at every stage of life, MHACG plays a crucial role in building a healthier, more resilient community.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the 2025 fundraiser was a resounding success, both in spirit and in support. As the jazz faded and the mystery was solved, one thing was clear: the community had come together not just for a night of fun, but for a cause that truly matters.

Thank you to everyone for the immense support!
