We go beyond mental health to support with your overall wellbeing. We have services to support survivors of assault, crime and abuse, substance abuse and recovery, supportive residences, respite, mentoring, after school programs, peer support, and strengthening families.

Improving mental health
for everyone with care.

MHA of Columbia Greene is your bridge to wellbeing -- connecting individuals, children, and family with care. We are a non-profit organization, and most programs and services are free to the consumer. Select programs may bill insurance or have eligibility criteria such as Medicaid.

Please note, we do not offer standard clinical therapy services, our services are based around support programs.

After School & Mentoring

After School & Mentoring

LEAPS Afterschool Programs are licensed and funded through OCFS to provide a broad range of educational, recreational, and culturally age-appropriate activities that integrate what happens during the school day. The program supports improvement in social, emotional, and academic competencies, as well as reducing negative behaviors such as crime, substance use and more.

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is a volunteer based government program that brings people together to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.

Apogee Center

Apogee Center

Apogee Peer Centers are located in Hudson in Fairview Plaza and in Catskill on Water Street. The centers are free, open locations that offer various activities and support groups with Peer Support Specialists. Check our calendar for group times & locations.

CFTSS

CFTSS

Children and Family Treatment & Support Services (CFTSS) is a rehabilitative service available to children/youth under the age of 21 who are Medicaid eligible and meet medical necessity. Services are delivered in the community where the child/youth lives, attends school, and/or engages in services.

CORE Services

CORE Services

Community Oriented Recovery & Empowerment. CORE Services provide opportunities for eligible adult Medicaid beneficiaries with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders to receive services in their own home or community.

Care Coordination

Care Coordination

Our Care Coordination services help clients manage their healthcare. The can help with scheduling appointments, accompany to provider visits, establishing a Primary Care Physician and more.

Child Advocacy Center

Child Advocacy Center

Our Child Advocacy Center (CAC) provides services for the trauma, care, and treatment of cases of child abuse. The CAC is a child-friendly safe environment where children and their families are able to receive a coordination of services for investigation therapy, medical exams, crisis counseling, courtroom preparation, education, and information.

Clubhouses

Clubhouses

The Clubhouses are a community based, peer-driven recovery program that encourages positive peer, family and community involvement. The Clubhouses promote long-term recovery through recreation, pro-social activities, skill building opportunities, education, and activities centered on overall health and wellness.

Mobile Crisis (MCAT)

Mobile Crisis (MCAT)

Our Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT) provides on-site mental health assessments, referrals, consultations, wellness calls, and follow-ups from psychiatric hospitalizations.

PROS Recovery Program

PROS Recovery Program

Personalized Recovery Oriented Services. Our PROS program is a service available for individuals living with a mental health diagnosis, aimed at assisting in recovery to live a health lifestyle. The program offers coping skills training, overcoming depression, employment support, medication education, and symptom remission strategies.

Peer Support Programs

Peer Support Programs

We have several different peer-based programs that provide different support needs. We have Peer Centers with support groups, NYS CORE Services program, Certified Recovery Peer Specialists for substance use recovery, and Children & Family Treatment and Support Services. Whether it's 1-on-1 support or social groups, we have programs that can help.

REACH Center

REACH Center

Referrals Education Advocacy Crisis Helpline. Our REACH Center provides a 24 hour helpline for survivors of crime and/or abuse. Trained staff provide counseling via phone and accompaniments for medical emergencies. Advocates are able to meet with survivors for support and coordination of services for legal, medical, and other necessary services.

Residential Services

Residential Services

Our Residential Division maintains an array of supportive housing services for the community. We have specialized Licensed Community Residences and Treatment Apartments, Supportive and Mixed-Affordable housing, as well as HUD Funded Permanent Supportive Housing.

School & Community Based Family Supports

School & Community Based Family Supports

School Based Family Supports helps families with children that have been referred with serious emotional, social, and/or behavioral issues. Family Support Specialists assist with improving behavior, attendance, and parent education.

Strengthening Families

Strengthening Families

The Strengthening Families Program is a 7 or 14 week group session with evidence-based family support education. Parents or caregivers and their child(ren) have the opportunity to build life skills, parenting skills, and training to strengthen parenting and family functioning.
