On May 7, 2026, MHA of Columbia Greene welcomed supporters, sponsors, community partners, and friends for our third annual fundraiser, the Bootlegger's Ball. Guests stepped back into the Roaring Twenties for an evening filled with great food, live music, dancing, fundraising, and community spirit — all in support of the programs and services that strengthen the lives of individuals and families throughout Columbia and Greene Counties.

This year's speakeasy-inspired celebration brought together supporters from across the region to help raise critical funds that support MHACG's nearly 30 programs serving more than 10,000 individuals each year. From mental health services and crisis support to advocacy, recovery, youth programming, and victim services, the generosity of those who attended helps ensure that these essential resources remain available to our community.

The evening featured live entertainment from The Hammerhead Horns, whose energetic performance perfectly captured the spirit of the 1920s theme. Guests also enjoyed a silent auction featuring an incredible selection of donated items and experiences generously provided by local businesses, organizations, and community supporters.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the many sponsors who generously helped make this event possible. Their commitment to our mission not only contributed to the success of the Bootlegger's Ball but also demonstrated their dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

We are equally grateful to every business and individual who donated silent auction items. The overwhelming support received from local donors created an exciting auction experience while generating additional funds to support our work throughout the year.

A special thank you goes to our event photographer, Lydia of EyeLyd Photography, for capturing the memorable moments, joyful celebrations, and community connections that made the evening so special. The event also would not be complete without dessert —another special thank you for Grandma's Hands for providing the most delicious cupcakes for everyone to enjoy.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, bid, danced, and celebrated with us. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve every day.

We invite you to browse the photo gallery below and relive some of the highlights from an unforgettable evening.

Thank you for helping make our third annual fundraiser a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
