There are several agencies that provide services for different crisis support needs, most available 24/7 to help.

Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT)
MCAT provides critical crisis support assistance for prevention, intervention, and follow-up. MCAT provides on-site face-to-face mental health assessments, referrals, follow-ups from hospitalizations, wellness calls, and consultations.
The 988 Lifeline is a simple, easy to remember, 3-digit number that connects you with the National Suicide Prevention Network for help. You can call, text, or chat online for support.
Crisis Text Line
Text MHA to 741741 and you'll be connected to a trained crisis counselor with MHA National (mhanational.org). The Crisis Text Line provides free, text-based support 24/7.
REACH Center Helpline
MHACG's REACH Center for Columbia & Greene Counties provide a 24-hour helpline for survivors of crime and/or abuse. Advocates are available to meet with survivors to provide guidance, emotional support, and coordination of services.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
For victims and survivors of domestic violence in need of support. If you're unable to speak safely, you can also log on to thehotline.org or text LOVEIS to 22522.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project provides a national toll-free confidential suicide helpline for LGBTQ+ youth, available 24/7. You can also text START to 678678 for assistance.
The Trans Lifeline is a peer support service run by trans people, for trans and questioning callers. Call if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you're not in crisis or if you're not sure you're trans.
Human Trafficking & Sexual Exploitation
The National Human Trafficking Hotline connects victims & survivors of sex and labor trafficking with services and supports to get help and stay safe.
A program run by the United Way, dial 211 is a service to provide assistance in finding food, paying for housing bills, accessing free childcare, or other essential services.
Disaster Distress Helpline
The national Disaster Distress Helpline is available for anyone experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. You will be connected to a trained, caring counselor, 24/7.
