Sextortion and Imaged-Based Sexual Abuse: Ten Steps for Greater Safety
Join MHACG's REACH and Child Advocacy Center as we host the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (CCRI) for this virtual training seminar.
Cyber Civil Rights Initiative (CCRI) is a survivor-founded nonprofit and the leading national voice combatting image-based sexual abuse (IBSA). CCRI has served over 40,000 callers to the CCRI Image Abuse Helpline, advised tech companies on policies and products, and published rigorous, peer-reviewed research on IBSA.
In this session, CCRI will examine the most common forms of IBSA, methods of perpetration, and individual and societal harms of IBSA. CCRI will also provide practical guidance on digital safety planning, documentation and takedown strategies, and key resources available to survivors and community stakeholders.
