About the event
Please join us hosting Kendra Eggleston (M.A.) the Training & Campus Specialist for the Stalking, Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center (SPARC).
Stalking is a criminal, traumatic, and dangerous victimization that impacts people of all ages, and research suggests that adolescents experience even higher rates of stalking victimization than adults do. This seminar explores the dynamics of stalking, focusing on the highly contextual nature of the crime by discussing common tactics used by perpetrators; the co-occurrence of stalking with teen dating, intimate partner, and sexual violence; the use of technology to stalk; and the use of risk assessments in stalking cases, as well as tools to plan for victim safety and hold offenders accountable.
Date: Tuesday 1/13/2026
Time: Training is 9-4. Check in starts at 8:30.
Location: Columbia Greene Community College, Main Building, Room 202
CE's will be available for LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, LCAT, and LMFT's
