Scattered Site Supportive Apartments
Supportive-Single Room Occupancy (SPSRO)
SPSRO housing is a form of Single-Site Supportive Housing that combines permanent housing with some on-site services. The support offered in SPSROs is consistent with the principles guiding all Supportive Housing. What works for this program is that those individuals who have had difficulty in Scattered Site Supportive Housing in the past are thriving in this building because there is always staff present. They live in a new and safe building that is Mixed Supportive Housing and they are doing very well. 13 individuals were able to transition from licensed treatment housing to the SPSRO when we opened Greenport Gardens.
